SCORCHED

A fuse flickers in the darkness, traversing and penetrating a henge of 26 blocks of ice, one by one temporarily illuminating the unique structural beauty of each block. The remaining scorched black trail, embedded within these mass of frozen liquid, creates one fluid drawing. Yet even this residual evidence is only momentarily captured as it melts away over the course of the exhibition, destroying the drawing in the process. In turn the water evaporates.
