BLOWING KISSES
During the Brockley Max festival 2009, the public were invited to bring a photograph of the one they love or someone they love to Tank gallery on the 29th May. Aoife exploded tiny hearts or tiny kisses onto the surface of photograph using gun powder.
"Blowing kisses" with gunpowder not only realised the amorous phrase in the literal sense but also brought to the fore various relationships, loving and otherwise, that the contributors had with the subjects of the photographs.
